Sowing seeds always requires a certain level of patience (something I must admit I’m not very good at!)
But, always up for a challenge I thought I’d help a friend and sow these Bat Plant seeds (Tacca Chantrierei) for her. She was given them as a birthday present and passed them on to me knowing I have a heated propagator.
I’ve never grown anything “exotic” before. My propagator usually gets used for my allotment tomatoes, however I thought I’d give it a go. Things went well untill I read on the instructions ‘germination will usually take between 1 – 9 months’. I’m not sure my patience will last for 9 months but I am now intrigued to see if any seedlings appear.
